    Ummm…

Why would removing non-living material from the exterior of your body have ANY impact on your Cardiac Health?

Remember, the ONLY living thing in a hair follicle is the root where the keratin is plated together.

There is no more of a risk of Heart Attack from shaving than from trimming your nails, which are also keratin, and created in an identical fashion, if for different purposes. (Hair is/was for insulation/shade, nails are/were for protection & grip/manipulation of small items.)

    Good Luck!

These are great tools for learning. Thank you very much for sharing them. However, I would like to add one thing. Through all of these, you are a child of God, and through all of this learning, God is right here beside you. True, He may not come into your heart uninvited, but He surrounds you nevertheless. Always and forever. His love for us is unconditional, and will never die.

Most of these people are talking about OTC pills that you also can get in prescription such as Nexium (purple pill) and Ranidine (prilosec) but the best OTC occassional medication is Gaviscon. You can get it in pill or liquid form (I like pills to take with me) and it comes in mint or cherry flavor. It is expensive but works great when you don’t have baking soda and water with you. The hospital uses it and calls it a heartburn cocktail and charges a fortune for it. I use cherry flavor. Chew the tablets very slowly. It says to follow with water, I don’t but if you need a sip it won’t hurt. It’s better than tume, rolaids, mylanta or anything else in that same category. Give it a try, mint makes mine worse that’s why I use cherry. They have it in foil packs also for traveling.I’ve used it occassionally for over 20 years.

I take Nexium, one 20mg tablet each night before bed. It is actually used to treat ulcers and reflux, have a yarn to your doctor next time you see him, it has worked wonders for me. Best of luck.

There are products that you can buy with the drug Rinitidine in it. This is a stronger drug that acts like Tums. It hits the acid in your stomach as a base and neutralizes it.

I am on a drug, from my doctor, that acts like the famous “purple pill.” These work differently buy making the acid producing pumps in your stomach make less acid.
