Question by maymay: teenage weight questions. healthy meals and dance.?
so, yeah a little bout my body type:
15 1/2 yrs old
5’4″
128lbs
apple shape body(store fat in the stomach region)
So i’ve been dancing ballet for about a year and a half maybe a little more, so i know i have a bit of muscle, BUT i can SEE the fat on my body as well. I ate like crap though! poptarts, candy, fried fast food, pizza and it was no wonder why im chubby. So today, in honor of heart healthy month, i began a new meal plan.
ALL real foods. nothing processed. 3 meals, 3 small snacks(apples, fruit, nuts, etc.)
SO THE QUESTION!
now that i’m eating healthier, do you think i should drop some weight? even though im not really changing my daily routine? I only dance about 45 min 5 days a week in school. walking back and fourth to class and dance is the only exercise i get daily.

Tips for good nutrition .. make every morning a hearty breakfast;
split into at least 5 meals a day, or less quantity of food distributed more throughout the day;
Do not delete or exclude any type of food (except in clear cases of intolerance);
chew slowly making the pauses between mouthfuls. The sense of satiety be perceived by the person after 20 minutes from the beginning of the meal;
avoid overly fatty foods and condiments;
vary foods including those typical of the Mediterranean diet, or cereal, fruit, vegetables, legumes, fish, olive oil and meat;
if you wish, indulge in the occasional small “gluttony”-_-
to the regular movement, even just walking for 20/30 minutes a day or up and down the stairs;
avoid excessive physical inactivity, drinking at least 1.5 to 2 liters of water every day ..; /

uhmm tell your parents or guardian ! but it could just be like… heart burnn maybe. but let a adult no like right now. like seriously as soon as you read this
Give your answer to this question below!

There are many things it could be. One of the things it could be is a heart murmur. This is common in many teens and most kinds are not dangerous. You could have a muscle ache due to dehydration or overexertion of that part of the body. It could be acid indigestion due to what you are eating. It could be form anxiety due to stress. It could be growing pains. Many teens get this from drinking energy drinks and exhausting their adrenal glands.
I suggest you see a doctor to see what he thinks. Without knowing what you are eating or how you are exercising, it makes it difficult to know where to start looking for the root cause.
good luck to you
Happened to me when I was your age. It’s heartburn probably and I grew out of it… I guess. Try Tums, that helped for me!
Do you drink energy drinks? Have you had a checkup lately? You need to clam down and relax- being worried increases heart rate and can give you a panic attack. Stop feeling your heartbeat- it inadvertently can make it speed up. Stop with the exertion and get it looked at- maybe nothing… Could be anything. Good luck- stay calm, you will be fine
Could be heart burn, or a pulled muscle, but tell a parent and go to the ER.
I don’t know what it is. But I suggest you talk to your parents, if they don’t know they will probably take you to the doctor.
Praying for you though.
Sorry about your heartaches.
God bless.
